Secretary Kerry To Release Report on International Religious Freedom
Notice to the Press
Secretary of State John Kerry will release the 2013 Annual Report on International Religious Freedom at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014, in the Press Briefing Room at the U.S. Department of State.
Secretary Kerry will introduce the report. Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Tom Malinowski will give remarks and take questions.
Remarks will be open to the press.
All press should be in the Press Briefing Room no later than 10:45 a.m.
Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver’s license, passport).
Instructions for embargoed access of the report will be available, to members of the press only, on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. in the State Department’s Press Office (Room 2109). The entire report is EMBARGOED until the end of the press briefing, at approximately 12:00 noon. After the briefing, the report will be available to the public on www.state.gov and www.humanrights.gov.
