Llandaff Cathedral boasts some of the finest medieval architecture in Wales. It was founded by Bishop Urban in 1107, on the site of a 6th century monastic church established by St Dyfrig. The interior of the church is dominated by a modern sculpture bearing Christ aloft, designed by Sir Jacob Epstein.
